The concept for this blog came to me one morning as I was feeding my baby girl her first peaches. Her facial expressions were so funny that I grabbed my camera with the intention of starting a Facebook album: "Audrey's Delicious Discoveries".

Of course, as a professional procrastinator I couldn't create the album right away...I had to put it off for a bit. As I went on with my day, "Audrey's Delicious Discoveries" grew from an album to a blog. My biggest problem with starting a blog (this is not my first one!) is that I can't seem to find a topic with an unlimited number of posts - eventually she will have tried all foods, and then what?! - so my concept continued to grow...

Spending my days with a baby has made me realize how many things we all 'discover' in a day. As an adult, our discoveries might be more complex than a baby's, but we are discovering none the less.

And so, Life's Little Discoveries was born...A place where family and friends can get a little window into our lives as we grow, mature and discover life as a family.
